Dear Parents and Students:
You will have the opportunity to order your Deer River letterjacket on Wednesday, October 29th. To order a jacket, students must sign up with Margie in the High School Office. Students will be issued a pass with a time to order their jacket on that day.
This year, a representative from Clafton Skate will be available to size each student and answer any questions. Sizing samples will be available to insure a proper fit.
The basic price for a jacket will be approximately $250 which includes the DR patch, one chevron, the embroidered name of the student on the front, Warrior name on the back, and one patch for the lettered sport.
A deposit of half down ($125) is required on order day. Checks should be made payable to Clafton Skate. Credit cards will also be accepted.
Jackets will arrive in approximately 2-4 weeks.
You still have the option to order a jacket from Meca Sportswear. The reason the change was made to Clafton Skate was that they have a better quality jacket, and they are a local business. Arrow Sports in Grand Rapids is also another local business that carries letterjackets. If you would prefer to order from Meca or Arrow, contact Margie in the High School office for information.
