Gardening: Getting Ready for
Winter – Deb from Bloomers Garden Center will cover topics on fall
bulb planting, bed preparation for winter and pruning your trees and
shrubs. She will attempt to answer all of your gardening
questions.

Scrapbooking: - Are you
interested in scrapbooking but don’t know where to start? Create
your own 6” x 6” flip-flop album. Bring up to 8 winter or Christmas
photos to complete the album in class or add the photos at home
after class.

Internet Basics: - If you are
challenged whenever you hear or see the phrase, “Just use the
internet”, we have the solution for you. This class covers a wide
range of internet use, including internet searching and safety. We
also show you programs that remove spyware, adware and viruses.

Grant Writing with Mary Kay
Jacobson – Take the mystery out of grant writing! Learn the grant
writing process, and how to pursue private, state, federal and
corporate grants. Also learn how to locate funding sources, develop
proposals and budgets, create and perform evaluation, devise funding
plans and understand accountability.

Defensive Driving Refresher –
Anyone over age 55 who has already taken the 8-hour course is
eligible for this class. Develop additional defensive driving
techniques and save 10% on your car insurance.

aspects of PowerPoint including designing & creating basic
presentations, inserting graphics, video, sounds & voice, animation
& effects.

Create a Holiday Newsletter -
Create a newslettere with graphics, borders and your own photos.
Learn how to set up your address book on Excel and merge the data
into label format for envelopes. Bring your address book and photos
to class. Must have beginner computer skills.

Take Advantage of the BluePrint
for Health program in the Fitness Center if you are a member of
Blue Cross/Blue Shield. Work out 8 times per month and your
membership is free. Check it out in the Fitness Center or call me
