1. The Boys & Girls Club is sponsoring a Teen Open House tomorrow. Join them for food, fun, and games. This is an opportunity for you to give feedback on what you would like to have included in your teen programming! Stop in, play Madden, and let them know what they can do to better serve you! Pizza, pop, and other treats will be provided.

Athletic/Activities Information:

1. Spring athletes: Make sure you have all of your paperwork & fee in before your first day of practice. Practice for softball & track begins Monday, 3/15. Baseball and golf start Monday, 3/22. If you have not participated in an activity this year, you cannot practice until you have turned in your paperwork. If you have turned in paperwork this year, all you need to do is pay your fee which is $60 for grades 7 & 8 and $100 for grades 9-12.

2. There are chevrons for sale in the office for athletes who have been waiting to buy them for their letter winner jackets. They are $3.50 each. Also, there are various patches for sale for $5-6. If you have lettered in something after buying your jacket & would like to add that patch, see Margie. Finally, we now have metal bars and pins to wear on the DR letter on the front of your jacket. Your first pin is free. After that, they are 75 cents.

3. Attention: All TRACK ATHLETES not involved in basketball – CAPTAIN’S PRACTICE meets after school. Be sure to get all paperwork turned in as soon as possible so you can practice on the 15th.

4. Close Up is having a Pancake Feed on Sunday from 8:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. at the Deer River Vets Club. Cost is $5.00 for adults and $3.00 for children 6 and under. Pre-sale tickets can be bought from Tanner Isaacs, Elliott Gielen, Donner Humenberger, Devon Pehrson, and Hannah Anthony.

5. Helen Hron will be participating in the Steps of Hope autism walk on Sunday in Minnetonka. There is a donation sheet in the high school office. Please help Helen meet her $4,000.00 goal.
