Tuesday, March 9th
1. The Boys & Girls Club is sponsoring a Teen Open House tomorrow. Join them for food, fun, and games. This is an opportunity for you to give feedback on what you would like to have included in your teen programming! Stop in, play Madden, and let them know what they can do to better serve you! Pizza, pop, and other treats will be provided.
2. There will be a FCCLA meeting today during advisory in Mrs. Passeri’s room.
3. There will be a Campus Life Mission Trip meeting today during advisory in room 117.
4. There will be an 8th grade ETS meeting today during advisory in the Boys & Girls Club room.
5. There will be a 7th grade ETS meeting tomorrow during advisory in the Boys & Girls Club room.
6. There will be an Art Club meeting tomorrow during advisory in the Art room.
7. There will be a Senior Class meeting tomorrow during advisory in the Commons.
8. There will be ETS ACT Prep/FAFSA computer lab time tonight from 5:00-7:30 p.m. in Lab 212 for juniors & seniors. Please let Lael know if you will be attending. Parents are welcome to attend to work on the FAFSA.
9. Found: A pair of tennis shoes – claim in the high school office.
10. SENIORS! March 25th is the last day for two very important things! First – T-shirt orders will be done! Sell as many as you can by this time, because it’s a fundraiser for the senior class. Second – The senior locker/time capsule will be shut after this day! Bring in things to Mr. Hermel that will be interesting to look back on in ten years!
11. Anyone interested in helping out with the following NHS sponsored volunteer events, please contact Mrs. Braukmann or Becca Rudquist for more information. Volunteer hours look great on college applications, resumes, and scholarship applications! Volunteer today!

Athletic/Activities Information:
1. Spring athletes: Make sure you have all of your paperwork & fee in before your first day of practice. Practice for softball & track begins Monday, 3/15. Baseball and golf start Monday, 3/22. If you have not participated in an activity this year, you cannot practice until you have turned in your paperwork. If you have turned in paperwork this year, all you need to do is pay your fee which is $60 for grades 7 & 8 and $100 for grades 9-12.
2. There are chevrons for sale in the office for athletes who have been waiting to buy them for their letter winner jackets. They are $3.50 each. Also, there are various patches for sale for $5-6. If you have lettered in something after buying your jacket & would like to add that patch, see Margie. Finally, we now have metal bars and pins to wear on the DR letter on the front of your jacket. Your first pin is free. After that, they are 75 cents.
3. Attention: All TRACK ATHLETES not involved in basketball – CAPTAIN’S PRACTICE meets after school. Be sure to get all paperwork turned in as soon as possible so you can practice on the 15th.

Junior/Senior/Scholarship Information:
1. $2500 scholarship for students interested in a career in television, broadcasting, or electronic media curriculum. Apply online at www.MidwestEmmys.org Deadline for application is March 12, 2010.
