Monday, November 23rd
1. Reminder to all 9th graders: Pizza party for lunch today!
2. There will be a MANDATORY Student Council meeting at 7:45 in Mrs. Felosi’s room WEDNESDAY! If you cannot make it, you must inform Mrs. Felosi or Mr. Carlstrom ahead of time.
3. Hey! Wanna get your Holiday Groove on? You know you do! Wednesday night from 7 – 11, the Deer River Warrior Wrestlers are hosting a dance in the commons! Admission is $5.00 with ID, $8.00 w/o ID. Be there or Miss Out!
4. You can work miracles by donating blood. It’s safe, it’s simple, and it saves lives. One donation saves up to three lives! The School Blood Drive will be on Thursday, December 3rd. Any sixteen year old can donate if you are five feet tall and at least 130 pounds. Be sure to grab the parental consent form from the office. The signup sheet is on the office service counter.
5. Remember to purchase your yearbooks before time runs out! Order forms can be found on the office service counter. Checks are to be made out to ISD #317. Turn order forms in to the office or with yearbook advisor, Brenda Lang.
6. Mrs. Spaeth’s 100% Blue Ticket drawing will be today during advisory.
7. There will be ACT prep from 5:30-7:30 p.m. tomorrow in room 214.
8. There will be an 11th grade ETS meeting today during advisory in lab 212.
9. The Boys and Girls Club room will be closed Tuesday and Wednesday for the Thanksgiving break.
10. The Deer River Boys and Girls Club are changing their schedule. On November 30th the schedule will be as follows: Monday’s and Tuesday’s – 3:15-6:00 (K-6th grade); 6:00-8:00 p.m. (Teens), Wednesday’s – 3:15 – 8:00 p.m. (Teens); Thursday’s – 3:15 – 6:00 p.m. (K-6th grade); and, Friday’s – 3:15 – 6:00 p.m. (K-6th grade).
11. Open library is Tuesdays and Thursdays, 3:30-4:30. This is a great opportunity for doing homework, checking grades, reading, or exploring things of interest to you.

Athletic/Activities Information:
1. There are a few Section championship t-shirts left in the AD office. $12 first come – first serve basis.
2. Boy’s basketball practice starts today.
