Welcome to the Deer River High School Music program! We believe that our music program will offer you many different benefits as an individual student: an opportunity to demonstrate and build musical ability; to develop leadership skills; to meet and make new friends; to explore music on the local, regional and professional levels; to participate in concerts and contests as a representative of our school; and an opportunity to discover the unique thrill of performance. Music is an important and rewarding part of our lives and we hope to convey our love and desire of it to you. Mrs. Janice Burch & Mr. Jason Thurm Music Director – ISD 317 |
